Even before the 1914 war, René Vinceny was one of the most talented illustrators of the elegant, sporting life. Many prestigious reviews called on his virtuosity : L’Illustration, Harper’s Bazaar, Femina or else Saturday Evening. He also produced marvellous advertising posters and was particularly at ease when it came to giving luxury car constructors the poster they wanted.
