Blanqui Absinthe, circa 1900

This poster was printed in Paris between 1898 and 1901 by L. Revon and Cie. The signature of the artist "Nover" is a mystery: no artist of that name is known. As the name is a palindrome of "Revon", we can assume that it refers to Revon himself or an anonymous employee of the printing house who bears this name. The same artist also designed the famous poster for Vichet absinthe, also printed by L. Revon and Cie.
