A student of Paul Colin, Alain Gauthier was a prolific artist and the creator of several hundred advertising posters: Danone, Biscuits Choco BN, Bally, Teppaz, Philips, Hoover, Kuwait Airways, Nestlé, Havas... His posters from the 1950s and 1960s for Marcel Teppaz, the inventor of the portable record player, are emblematic of his creativity: joyful and poetic.
