La Marseillaise, Modes et manières d’aujourd’hui, 1920, Robert Bonfils

Robert Bonfils, a teacher at the Ecole Estienne from 1919 to 1951, was also a lecturer at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs and one of the most representative artists of the Art Deco period. His multiple talents made of him renowned thanks to his famous poster for the 1925 Art Deco international exhibition, he was also a great illustrator of coffee-table books with in particular his album Modes et Manières d'Aujourd'hui, which was published in 1920, and a recognised painter and excellent bookbinder.
