A renowned Swiss illustrator, Celestino Piatti was also a painter and graphic designer. His unfailing collaboration with the German publisher Deutscher Taschenbuch Verlag led him to create nearly 6,000 book covers. Alongside this impressive output, Piatti achieved worldwide fame with his children's album Eulenglück (The Happiness of Owls). Of the approximately 500 posters he designed, many won international awards.
