From the 1930s to the 1970s, Boris Grinsson was one of the most prolific creators in the world of movie posters. Of Russian origin, he settled in Berlin in 1920 where he worked as an extra in several films and began his career as a poster artist. Prosecuted for making a caricature of Hitler, he emigrated to France in 1933.
