A graduate of the Sèvres School of Ceramics, Lucien Boucher began his career as a caricaturist for the weekly Le Rire. As of the 1920s, he pursued his career as a poster artist for the cinema, fashion and banks. Lucien Boucher is above all known for his long collaboration with Air France, for whom he produced a large number of posters as well as planispheres.
