Chamonix Mont-Blanc, 1900, Francisco Tamagno

Born in Turin, Francisco Tamagno trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris before starting his career at the Victor Camis's printershop in Paris.

A talented poster designer, between 1890 and 1900 he created a good hundred posters of a remarkable quality: for Cachou Lajaunie, Chamonix Mont-Blanc, or Liqueur Cointreau, with its "Pierrot" which symbolised the brand for 50 years.
