Ricard, five volumes of water, 60s
Pastis, a traditional Provençal alcohol made from anise, fennel and liquorice, was marketed by Paul Ricard in 1932 under the name "Ricard le vrai pastis de Marseille". Blue and yellow, the brand's identity code, evoke the sunny world of the Mediterranean, Paul Ricard's terroir of origin. This poster from the 60s was probably created by the graphic design workshop of the firm directed by Albert Bataille.
